Confidentiality

Personal Information

In order to register it will be necessary for you to inform us of certain personal information, including name, address and contact details. In addition, we shall ask you to supply a written statement explaining why you feel drawn to work with the images, what work you have undertaken to prepare for this, and as much background information as you feel you would like to give. Please note that these details will be stored securely, and can only be accessed by your tutors via their password.

Journal Feedback

As you work through each Exercise, you will be expected to undertake certain exercises and record the outcome in your journal. A summary of this process will be sent to your tutor for assessment and comment. This information will be stored separately from your personal details and, once more, can be accessed only by your tutors with their password.

Forum

Upon registration each student will be allocated a student number. It is this, plus your password, which will give you access to the Members page and Forum. Thus, each post you make to the forum will be identified by this number. You may, if you wish, sign your posts with your own name, but there is no requirement to do so.

The information and feedback which you supply to us will only be available to your tutors, who will liaise on the feedback for each Exercise.

Please note that there are legal limitations to confidentiality and that, should your tutors become aware of any information which implies a risk of harm to yourself or others, this must be reported. At all other times your confidentiality is preserved.
