We may become aware of the significance of the ego. It is necessary for each of us to develop a sense of who we are in this life, but then to recognise the importance of transcending this.

What do we think is the motivation behind our spiritual quest?

Often we can’t find what we are looking for because we spend too much time looking for it. It is a good idea, when aspiring to grow spiritually, to take time out to process information; ground oneself, and step back. This enables the information to be absorbed more completely, which encourages growth at a better and more sensible pace
